COVID-19 Update
What to expect during your visit
Updated Friday 26 June 2020
We’re constantly monitoring the latest guidelines and hope to get back to normal as soon as possible.
We are now open for all of our patients but working at a reduced capacity as we come out of the pandemic.
There are a few patient groups that we are especially aware of:
- Covid-positive patients
We’ll continue to be able to give telephone advice and video consultations. We won’t be able to see these patients until they are deemed not infectious and asymptomatic. If they require treatment, we’ll refer them on to specialist services that will be able to help.
- Clinically extremely vulnerable
These are the people who have been shielding.
If they need to come to the practice, we will be taking special precautions to ensure that they are safe.
- Clinically vulnerable
People who fill in our medical questionnaire may be identified as clinically vulnerable and again we’ll take the appropriate precautions.
In the next few weeks we’ll be expanding our services so that we can see more patients and will be able to provide AGP (aerosol generating procedures). This may also include hygiene procedures too.
We’re continuing to monitor the latest NHS guidelines and follow government advice both nationally and locally.
We’re currently making assessment appointments and helping patients with toothache and emergencies, so you’re welcome to call reception during our current working hours of 9am to 5pm.
Please also remember that you can order and replenish any oral hygiene products that you might need, like TEPEs, floss and toothbrush heads.
We hope to see you soon.
