Dr Shilpa has been with Desford DentalCare from the very start.

It’s been her vision that has seen the practice grow from its humble beginnings. Dr Shilpa has with Dr Hanish established the practice with an enhanced reputation of providing top-quality care in a calm environment.

Shilpa has a great reputation for providing quality dentistry. Her calm understated style ensures the patients she sees feel valued and confident that they are getting the very top quality of care.

Shilpa has qualifications from home and abroad and has extensive knowledge in composite build-ups( bio clear) and orthodontic treatment (6-month smiles). She has undertaken numerous courses in Aesthetic smile changes and has an interest in smile design. Shilpa is an educational supervisor and has helped train newly qualified dentists journey into general practice. As well as being integral in how the practice runs, Shilpa manages to find time to raise her children, family and run a household.

She has a passion for travel and adventure, having skydived, bungee jumped, gliders flying on a number of occasions and she is also a martial arts practitioner.

Shilpa devotes a lot of her time helping children less fortunate and has run a number of dental camps in India. In the future, her aim is to continue and expand her charity work.
