I am most impressed with this dental surgery. I have used them for a while now for my routine dental surgery and always been happy. This last 18 months I have under gone Invisalign treatment, instructed by Hanish Chotai, with some Bioclear Vaneers, completed by Shilpa Chotai. I cannot rate them highly enough. Never once did they put pressure on me to undergo this treatment, they explained each stage clearly giving me options and most valuable of all providing support if needed. Really pleased someone recommended Desford Dental Practice to me. A truly fantastic Dentist. Over nearly 10 years I've been supported with wisdom teeth complications, fillings, root canals and some emergencies. Previously a very nervous patient with bad experiences elsewhere, but I have so much confidence in these Dentists and I'm so much better at receiving treatment now thanks to them. I am always put at ease with their friendly demeanour from walking into Reception through to the chair. You don't feel rushed if you need to make a decision and everything is fully informed in a real personable way. You understand what the options there are and what to expect from start to finish of any treatments. During treatment it's a very calm environment and you are talked through each step which I find very helpful. I've never struggled to get an appointment and they are great for those unexpected emergencies. I'd never go anywhere else and I highly recommend their exceptional services.

We've always received excellent care at this practice. Every dentist we have seen, including Sonam and Ria, has always been extremely thorough, reassuring, and they explain everything clearly. I have learnt a lot more about my teeth from coming to this practice than any other practice I have been to. I was really impressed with how quick and comfortable my recent fillings were. The reception staff are also friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Very happy with the service I received, waiting wasn’t long, the Hygienist was approachable as was her assistant. She was excellent cleaning my teeth and when I asked a question she was very knowledgeable with her answers.I then saw my dentist who again gave me advice and told me what she was doing and why. An excellent service.The receptionists were very helpful and accommodating with my appointments and also sending texts and phone to ensure I won’t forget my appointment.Excellent

I am always a little nervous when I visit . But I was made to feel relaxed and was told what I was having done and my options on treatments, to see also studants learning as well is a good thing. my dentist i saw was brilliant, kind and caring and listened to me and not push treatments on me that was not needed .I also have to say the ladies on the desk are amazing always happy and always have a smile . When you walk in . Nothing is to much trouble .If I could give more stars to this practice I would .

My son recommended Desford Dental Care to me as I have a fear of dentists especially injections after having several reactions to them but Hanish immediately put me at ease & I was fine. On several of my visits I have met a lovely assistant named Jess who also put me at ease. Hanish passed me onto Shilpa for reconstruction of my front teeth, on my first appointment for discussion of treatment I was immediately put at ease as I was on the 2 treatments of 2 hours each appointment & I was also pleased on each visit to have Jess as the assistant & on each occasion the care & professionalism of both Dentists & assistant was first class.Also all the reception girls are very welcoming, caring & polite.I would not hesitate to to recommend Desford Dental Care to anyone.Thank you all so much

Personally I do not suffer from 'Dentist nerves' as some do however the entire team always make you feel so welcome, as if more of a friend rather than a patient, nervous or otherwise.Yesterday I had to have a little impromptu 'drill & refill' with the lovely.....and so much fun - Dr. Sonam THAKKAR and her equally charming colleague. Throughout the procedure they both put me at ease (despite feeling absolutely fine) and explained everything they were going to do / as they did it.Excellent 'pain free' work in a professional environment was completed as usual..........with a some banter along the way!Such a refreshing change to come to a surgery where there is no stuffiness whatsoever, something I am sure would only add to any nervous patients inner fears.5 stars

I had some rather exceptional treatment today carried out by the wonderfully talented & lovely Shilpa Chotai who is a Bioclear trained dentist at the Desford Dental Care practice. The treatment is very specialised & requires a great deal of skill & patience. Hopefully it was going to be 2, fairly straightforward, white, Bioclear fillings, however, when she removed the old filling, a large amount of tooth came away causing a great deal more work & problem's than anticipated for her. Nevertheless, she grasped the situation with both hands & of course expertise & after a lot of patience & perseverance, I now have 2 beautiful teeth to be proud of! I'm no dentist but i can appreciate the artistry that Shilpa created. I have a follow-up appointment booked in a couple of weeks to report how things have been & I received a lovely phone call this afternoon asking how I was after my treatment earlier today & asking me just to be mindful of certain things. I cannot thank the team enough at the Desford Dental Care & if anyone is looking for a more 'bespoke' white filling, then Bioclear & Shilpa could be the answer!

All the staff here are very friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome.I can not thank Matthew enough for the work he has done, I was very nervous but straight away he made me feel happy and relaxed, Ive had some complex work done and he was constantly making sure I was ok, wich made me feel comfortable and relaxed with him. His work is outstanding and I can’t recommend him enough!Overall this dental practice is amazing, and has helpful, friendly staff, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My wife suffered toothache over a weekend. We are both patients at Desford, so at 8.30am Monday I telephoned for an appointment, although busy that day the Receptionist managed to fit her in at 9.40am. The tooth requires an extraction carried out swiftly after a thorough explanation from the charming lady dentist, and an hour later we're home. Although on medication my wife suffered Minimal bleeding and absolutely no pain. Our very grateful thanks to all at Desford - the highest recommendation from us both, they are superb

I have to say like many my dread at going to the Dentists is tremendous , Partly due to the treatment and experiences in the past. But at this practice right from the beginning all the staff put you at ease. The receptionists are friendly and professional, Dr Chotai is a man that puts you at ease and always explains what he is going to do, you never feel under pressure . All the staff have empathy. I was very nervous when I first started going to the dentist, but I went because I did not want my son to grow up with the same fear. Desford dental care was brilliant and I cannot recommend them enough. They made me feel welcome and was very patient with me, from reception to treatments. Shilpa explained everything and advised me what to expect before any treatment was done. I have now been going 12 years and would not go anywhere else.

Due to the lack of NHS patient capacity i have received all the dental work required at this practise for the last five years. Recently following an abscess in a front tooth that required removal. After a course of antibiotics came the day for extraction. After the necessary injection, Hanish removed the tooth painlessly. Not only that but as the feeling returned I expected , at the very least, to require some paracetamol. Not at all !!! No bruising, no pain, no discomfort at all just waiting painlessly for the wound to heal. Great treatment by a great dentist and pleasant staff.

Recently joined this surgery as an NHS patient and initial impressions following first visit for a check up were very positive. Reception staff very friendly when booking appointment and dealing with paperwork during first visit. Also very impressed with my Dentist, Bhavisha Patel. Examination was very thorough and options for potential further treatment were explained to me very clearly with the benefits/risks associated with each. Overall highly recommended.

Today I have visited Desford Dental Care for my 6 monthly hygienist and also to have my check up with Hanish. No matter how many times I visit the dentist I am apprehensive, but they are so kind and reassuring. The hygienist and assistant were really kind and the procedure was no problem, talking all the way through thank you both.... Hanish is very friendly and smiley. I have been using Desford Dental care for around 3 years. Due to financial restraints, my dental care had been restricted for a good few years. Desford Dental care has helped get my teeth and oral hygiene back on track and I am looking forward to a healthier dental future. Treatment plans are detailed and costed before starting. I needed attention to a molar and Dr Shiv informed me of the different treatments that were available. He offered advice on the most suitable treatment for the short term and further ahead. He and Nurse Beth answered all of my questions thoroughly and both had lovely bedside manners. My treatment was quickly performed and I suffered no pain whatsoever. I didn't even feel the injection to numb my gum! As usual, a first class service 💯. Thanks to everyone at Desford Dental Care.

As someone who is very nervous of anything to do with Dentists finding a new dentist was a journey I managed to avoid for a long time.I am so glad that I started to attend Desford Dental Care. I noticed the other day, that one if my fillings had come out, so I rang the dentist about 1pm on Tuesday the 16th January and was offered an appointment the very same day at 3.30pm.When I arrived at the dentist surgery, I had literally sat down when I was called, I went straight in and had a examination that the dentist said that he would do a permanent filling straight the way.Now that's what I call an excellent service.The dental practice is Desford dental care.And my fantastic dentist is called Dr.Shiv.I would highly recommend a visit.

I concted Desford dental care today with chronic toothache. I have a fear of going to the dentist and have had bad experiences in the past with other dentists. The reception team were lovely and got me an appointment today. I felt at ease as soon as the dentist came to get me from the waiting area. Mr Chotai was welcoming and understood my anxieties. The dental nurse present was extremely friendly and I felt like they took time to get to know me as a new patient. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone who is looking for a friendly experience and a fantastic service.

I cannot believe that I had 2 roots removed today, my fear of the dentist has left my teeth needing some attention (a lot). I have gone from having to have someone drive me for just a check up, having a scale and polish to X-rays on another session. I had an appointment Tuesday 6th June to have a filling refill, I must say it went much better than I thought and after around 5 minutes I manage to relax more and realised there wasn't any pain but just sounds from the equipment being used. I've been going to Desford Dental Care for many years and they are all lovely and make you feel welcome and comfortable. I recommend going if you are the nervous type. Being an extremely nervous patient due to previous bad dental experiences it was such a relief to find a dental practice where all of the staff I have come into contact with have listened to me and understood my fears. I joined Desford Dentists more than ten years ago after another dentist carried out excessive cosmetic work on my, then, perfectly healthy teeth and convinced me to have veneers that I could have avoided.Since I've been with Hanish he has repaired and corrected the damage done to my teeth and, using superior materials to previously, has given me a smile that everybody comments on.His friendly and caring nature along with his vast knowledge of dentistry has led me to recommend his practice to numerous friends and family.All of the staff from the reception are so polite and helpful and nothing seems too much trouble.Recently Laura (trained by Hanish) carried out a root canal procedure on myself and I hardly felt a thing. Hanush himself frequently looked in to check on progress and he gave her work the thumbs up after checking my x-ray results.This is the new benchmark for how all dentist practices should operate and they deserve all the credit and recognition they receive 👏 🙌

I had joined the practice at the beginning of the year, knowing that my teeth was in pretty bad shape. Im someone who gets really nervous at the dentist but I was greeted with Ria who was so lovely and wonderful from the very start! She made me feel at ease and talked me through every process! I did have to have quiet a lot of treatment which meant a lot of needles which I’m not a big fan of, but she made me feel very comfortable and I might even say I don’t mind them anymore! I’ve been a patient at Desford Dental Care for many years now, initially as a very nervous patient. Dr Hanish is clearly a very special Dentist who treats his patients with personal care, not often seen in todays constantly challenging society. For this care, I am eternally grateful Hanish, thankyou.Just before Christmas 2022, I visited the practice with a problem and was seen by Laura, and the personal care and approach shown by Hanish, seems to be a distinguishing quality shared by other dentists. The care I received from Laura before Christmas was exemplary and the care and empathy I received today on returning for an extraction was similarly extremely caring and comforting.It’s unusual to find a team that share a similar approach to patient care and well-being.A personal shout out to Laura, for putting me at ease today, for talking to me and explaining, for the follow up call later in the day, and just for taking the time to care, thankyou. I got an emergency appointment on the day I contacted the practice. The extraction a day later wasn’t easy but Ria persevered and removed all the roots. She took time from her lunch to do this as they were very short staffed due to illness. Both Ria and Andrea were professional and calm and even though clearly pushed for time they gave me all the time I needed to get settled and calm me down. Much appreciated and a credit to the practice.

I have recently used The Enlighten Evolution3 teeth whitening product as recommended by Mr Pabari at Desford and I couldn’t be happier with the results.Using the product nightly takes a bit of commitment and your gums can become quite sensitive. However, it is only a few weeks and the sensitivity quickly disappears once finished and there’s always the option to stop for a day or more if you need to.In a short time my teeth have gone several shades lighter making my smile look bright and healthy, it’s such a difference. I notice it every time I look in the mirror. It’s a massive confidence boost and I’m absolutely delighted with it. I’ll definitely keep it topped up.I was given great instructions on how to use it and it’s easier than you maybe think it will be. Would definitely recommend.

Have been with this dental practice since it opened. Great, friendly staff. The receptionists are always welcoming and if you ever feel nervous or unsure the dentists are always calm and reassuring. Had an injection to numb for a filling today. I was nervous about it and Hanish made me feel relaxed. Also, very grateful for their work throughout covid as many of my friends at other dental practices could not get face to face appointments and were struck off. This dental practice were there when I needed them.

Recently registered with Desford Dental Care after using a practice in a neighbourhood village for many years.The staff and dentists are professional, friendly, and extremely helpful.Their tips and advice on oral hygiene and technique was great (and something that previous practices that I have used never gave). Highly recommend.

I have been going to this practice for a few years now. I always recommend Desford Dental Care to anyone that asks. The staff are lovely and welcoming, you can see that they get on with each other too which adds to the welcoming atmosphere.I have had a few dentists over my time there and they have all been lovely, if you ask they will give advice.The best dentist practice I have been to!

I have recently undergone ‘Invisalign’ treatment to straighten and whiten my teeth and am very pleased with the final results. I had my teeth whitened at the surgery with the Enlighten system and am really pleased with the results. The process was simple, comfortable and I didn't experience any sensitivity.I have always been nervous about visiting the dentist and avoided seeing a dentist for several years before registering at Desford. Hanish and his team have always put me at ease during my appointments and I have recommended the surgery to my friends and neighbours.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!Received new denture under the guidance/treatment/patience/ understanding and total skill of Shiv ( Shivram) and could not be happier, absolutely blown away by the result, BRILLIANT! thankyou Shiv!Very nice to have continuity of Dental Assistant Jess who is quietly reassuring and efficient. I have been to see Hanish as my dentist for over 10 years. He is always friendly and so concerned for your welfare. He is calm and so conscious of making nervous patients more relaxed.The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Myself and my family have been patients at Desford Dental Care for many years , and my visit today to the practice was like every visit before ………. on arrival the receptionist team are always courteous and helpful. My dentist Ria and her assistant Ellie instantly make you feel welcome and relaxed , which is important in any dentistry .Treatment is always explained clearly and done very professionally to the highest standards .I can only rate Ria and the whole team of people at Desford Dental Care as brilliant ! I am nervous to say the least about visiting the Dentist. I had an appointment with Shilpa this morning for several fillings, She is amazing and so kind patient and reassuring. I would definitely recommend this practice. It has given me the confidence to carry on with the treatment I need thanks to Shilpa and all the staff

Staff are always friendly and welcoming. They all have dealt brilliantly with the changes the pandemic requested of them. Special thanks to Ria who always calms me down, knowing what sort of panic I suffer having to go to the dentist. I also love how there's always a friendly chat with my little daughter to out her ease. Never any pressure, always fun.

Not very often we can say we enjoyed our visit to the dentist but I very happy with the service I have received. Whether it be for a routine dental check-up, treatment or a visit to the Hygienist. Receptionists go above and beyond to help and the staff including the dentists and hygienists are excellent at their job, putting you at ease and always explaining what treatment you require.Excellent covid measures in place.

I have been coming to Desford Dental Care for many years now and have always found the whole team to be friendly, professional, and very helpful, from the ladies on reception to the dental nurses and of course the dentist themselves. I have on many occasions had to call on their services as an emergency case and found them to be very accommodating, I cannot recommend this practice highly enough and I wish them all a happy Christmas, keep up the good work and no doubt I’ll be seeing them all again in 2022.

I've recently completed a course of Invisalign and it's been incredible. Ria explained everything very clearly to me, and was always at the end of the phone in case I had any stupid questions or forget anything (which happened quite a bit). She was very flexible with my more awkward needs for appointments and made the whole process easier than I thought it was going to be. Thanks for the great service Ria!

I was first introduced to Ria at Desford Dental Care following a friends recommendation. Due to a terrible fear of dentists and poor treatment in the past I had not had my teeth looked at for a very long time. The last 6 months Ria has fixed many problems but also calmed my fears at every appointment and the progress has been amazing. I couldn't give a higher recommendation.

Great service all round. Was given a few different options for what i needed and honest advice for which would be best. Great care from Yusuf and nurse Lauren, first injection i have not been able to feel. Very impressed. And many thanks to receptionist Kay, Always very professional and friendly and patient finding me a suitable appointment. I Still travel over an hour to this practice after moving away, as found local dentists provide less care and seem more concerned with making money.

Fantastic dental practice. Great staff, and lovely surgery. I have spent the last four weeks transforming my smile with the help of Shilpa. She has done biocelar composites on four of my teeth and the results are amazing. I’ve also had a new wire retainer and plastic retainer and nothing has been a problem. A great dentist with a lovely welcoming atmosphere and very COVID safe, all measures have been taken to avoid you having contact with any other patient and you feel totally at ease, great organisation from you all. Thanks to shilpa and all the staff at Desford Dental :)
