What is Six Month Smiles?

As the name suggests, Six Month Smiles can straighten out a smile in as little as six months. Using clear brackets and tooth-coloured wires, these subtle braces are designed to help patients achieve their smile ambitions without anyone knowing.

What is the treatment process like?

After a consultation with us to determine which orthodontic route is for you and your smile, we’ll fit you for your Six Month Smiles braces here at the practice. We have a great deal of experience in fitting braces and will be able to advise you on how to care for your teeth and your braces while wearing them.

Over the course of your treatment, you’ll come back into the practice to have the braces adjusted every two weeks or so. These appointments are very important and should not be missed. They’re crucial in helping us achieve your straighter smile, and your treatment could end up taking longer if you skip an appointment or two.

How long does the treatment take?

For most patients, the Six Month Smiles treatment takes 6-9 months. The exact duration is different for every patient, however, and will depend on the position of the teeth at the start of the treatment.
