What is wrinkle correction?

Wrinkle correction is a non-surgical, minimally-invasive treatment that can help reduce the visible signs of ageing by using a substance called botulinum toxin. With this substance we can target specific areas of the face, freezing the muscles that – due to regular movement – cause the most visible wrinkles and fine lines. By restricting this movement, lines are reduced and the skin is left looking younger and smoother.

What is the treatment like?

This minimally-invasive treatment only takes up to half an hour in the chair. After a consultation where we’ll decide which areas of the face to focus on, we’ll apply the wrinkle correction to the face, and you’ll be able to return to your day with no downtime.

Where can the treatment be applied?

We can help you decide which areas to focus on, but most patients tend to address the areas surrounding the nose, eyes, and mouth. Example frown lines and crows feet

Similar treatment can also be used for:

• Correction of Gummy smiles to reduce the amount of gum which shows when you smile.
• Treatment of Clenching/Grinding habits- small amount of botolinium can be placed in the masseter muscle which can stop this habit. This in turn also slims the jaw line!

When will I see results and how long will they last?

Most patients begin to notice the results after a week or so, and they can last for up to four months.

Will it hurt?

We will apply a numbing agent to the area being treated, so you shouldn’t experience any discomfort while receiving your treatment.
